    Grants

The Douglas Community Fund competitive grants program accepts applications for the spring cycle to support a wide variety of projects in Douglas County, but because the Douglas Community Foundation was originally created to provide funds for a regional medical facility, the medical needs of Douglas County continue to have a high priority.

    Grantee Reporting

Post-grant evaluation reports are due on January 15 of each year. A new grant application will not be considered unless evaluation reports have been submitted for all previous grants. This program uses OCF's standard grant evaluation form

    Scholarships

Graduates from Douglas County high schools are eligible to apply for scholarships. The Office of Student Access and Completion (OSAC) administers the Douglas Community Fund scholarship program for OCF. Students studying the following majors are eligible for this scholarship: biology (pre-medicine) health occupations, medical technology, medicine, nursing, physician assistant and public health.

Scholarship applications are due by March 1 of each year, although OSAC strongly recommends students submit their applications by the early bird deadline, February 15 of each year.
